Recipe: Dining In Cookbook (but I also like the look of the “Searing and Roasted method here)
Total Time: 30 min
Review: We try to always have Whole Food’s Club Packs of fish to use for weeknight dinners because they thaw in about 20 minutes! But also because I recently learned the vast majority of fresh fish was originally frozen. I had always thought that buying it fresh was more sustainable, but turns out I was wrong. Most fish is frozen immediately at the dock, and is actually more environmentally-friendly to ship frozen as well. It also decreases spoilage and seals in freshness. So if it’s cheaper, easier, and more sustainable, what’s not to like?
Note: we’ll alternate between Whole Foods’ Club Packs of white fish and salmon, but I don’t recommend the tuna. We tried it and it wasn’t great.
